Rogers House photographs, 1974.

One exterior and numerous interior photographs of "Hearthstone," 625 W. Prospect Ave., Appleton, Wis., built in 1880-1882, by paper mill owner Henry J. Rogers. The house was notable as the first residence electrified from a centrally located hydroelectric plant. The photos were submitted by owner Harold Mares in nominating the house to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
